Dow Hyperlast Syntactic DW512 is a glass syntactic polyurethane (GSPU) insulation materials for deep-water subsea applications (up to 3000 m) with good physical properties withstanding the rigors of laying, either by reel barge, ‘S’ or ‘J’ lay.

Dow Hyperlast Syntactic DW512 has been used and tested extensively worldwide for decades demonstrating consistent insulation properties and low water absorption. It is cast-in place and offers cost-effective thermal insulation solution with flexibility, controllable range of hardness and low processing temperatures.
